This Interpower 84351303 International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 60309 red, four-pole, high-power connector has five contacts, a six-hour (180 degree) ground location, and is suitable for high-current, three-phase electrical applications. It has an international current and voltage rating of 16 amps at 220/380 and 240/415 VAC, and a North American rating of 20 amps at 200/415 VAC. Its housing is made of red polyamide 6 for strength and thermal insulation, and has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP44 for protection against splashing water and foreign objects larger than 1 mm. It has an operating temperature range of -25 to +80 degrees C and an ambient temperature range of -25 to +40 degrees C. The connector has five contacts made of a copper-zinc alloy for conductivity, and accommodates five American Wire Gauge (AWG) #12 conductors, or five cables with a 1.5 sq. mm diameter. It measures 142 x 89 mm (L x H). (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top.)
